I am currently a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I am conducting research in the prediction and exploration of tracking and motion capture systems for virtual environments and telepresence, 3D graphics and visualization and cognitive mapping and motion planning. I have several years of experience with object oriented programming and system design and implementation in object oriented languages such as C++, Java and C#. I have also worked with mathematical/imaging languages, such as Matlab and IDL(Interactive Data Language). I enjoy working with graphics and have experience with OpenGL and various modeling/animation systems. On a more personal level, I am highly ambitious, creative and self-motivated and I enjoy working in a team environment. I feel these professional and personal qualities will help me make a significant contribution to this project.
